Heather Neeraja Parsons is immersed in the Art and Practice of spiritual creative expression. Her commitment to The Awakening, through music, poetry, art, healing and environmental activism, along with her devotion to the Divine Mother, Mata Amritananda Mayi Ma, is the essence of Neeraja's many projects, workshops, recordings and collaborations over the past 25 years.
Now residing in Maui, her kirtans are a favorite event at Maui Sufi Camps, around the Hawaiian Islands and the West Coast. Her most recent recording project is sharing the vocals with world renowned tabla master Daniel Paul on his latest CD, Elephant Prayers. "We are at our best when we are rooted in regular spiritual practices, while embracing spontaneous, deep and joyful activities. The unopened aspects of our true nature come alive when sacred intentions and mutual encouragement are created within a group of sincere seekers.
